Safe Families for Children

About Our Chapter

Our Families

Safe Families for Children would not exist without the hard work and dedication of our volunteer families. We have host families who open their homes to vulnerable children. And family friends who support families in need by providing transportation, facilitating family visits, providing tangible resources to host families and so much more. We also have a group of parent mentors that serve our parents in need and a group of volunteer family coaches who monitor the care of a child while he or she is in a host home. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a host family, family friend, or family coach!

A native Ohioan, Tom and his family moved to Cleveland in August 2014 after living and ministering to the people of Chicago for 13 years.

He served with Safe Families for Children in Chicago and now is living out his passion to see Safe Families start in Cleveland and in Pittsburgh where he lived for a brief time and met the woman of his dreams Karin Csora.

Tom is also the Sr. Pastor of Grace Church Old Brooklyn in Cleveland, Oh. This role of pastor coupled with his role at SFFC will hopefully increase his effectiveness at the church and create new opportunities with pastors across the region.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children Samuel, Isabela, Noah, and Caitlyn. He likes playing sports when time permits and seeing the urban community open more basketball courts.
